Therapy for individuals:

Therapy is a process that unfolds in ways we cannot always predict, yet somehow, when the therapeutic relationship fits, it works. Although I bring my years of training and experience, intellectual rigour, insights, resources and ideas to the therapy, the shared project of sense-making and exploring experience is always guided by you and your needs.

For some, this process can result in moving through stuckness towards significant life changes. For others, the biggest shift might be accepting what can’t be changed, and learning to relate differently to those parts of the self that get stuck.

I’m experienced working with a wide range of issues around personal development and mental health, so please get in touch if you would like to discuss what is troubling you.

Sessions look different for everyone, but here are some of the observations I most often hear from clients:

  • they feel more at ease in themselves, with greater self esteem

  • develop clearer boundaries

  • increase connection with agency

  • less anxiety, depression and self-criticism

  • understand how habits and patterns learned in early life or developed through traumatic experiences are playing out in the present

  • new ways of living with grief and loss

  • more effective emotional regulation and resilience,

  • growing capacity to relate to and appreciate all parts of themselves.

  • greater self-knowledge and awareness of themselves in relation to others
